the villa

Celagi is the Balinese word for the tamarind tree that grows next to the pool. Our villa lies directly on the seashore. The house is built on the lowest terraces of the hillside on inclining terrain. From here you see that the world is round: From our terrace you have a 180° view of the Bali Sea!

large open living room and wide open terrace

In its inception, Villa Celagi is about space, light, harmony and refreshing breezes. The large living space is the central area of the house, 100 m2. Take a seat at the big wooden table and discover the fantastic view of the Bali Sea. When the large glass doors are opened, outside and inside flow together.

At 6:30am the sun rises. Dozens of fishermen return in their Jukungs, colourful sails head for the beaches.

Two bedrooms on either side of the living room are identical: 30 m2 plus the bathroom and wardrobe space with spacious cupboards and drawers, two washbasins, shower and toilet.

The beds are king size, with box-spring mattress (210 x 180 cm). The bedroom is completely furnished with mosquito net, desk, dress boy and comfortable chairs. Both rooms have extra single beds.

A third brand-new bedroom has been added (Nov 2018). It comes with twin beds and an additional sofa bed. Adjacent is a new semi-open beautiful bathroom.

From the Bale Benong, the covered Balinese elevated deck, next to the pool (7×15 m), situated on a lower terrace between the house and the sea, it looks as if the water in the pool flows directly over the infinity edge into the Bali Sea below.

From the garden the sea can be reached via a flight of steps. So you can snorkel, dive in front of the house or…. just sit and muse on the terrace by the sea.
